Description
Being a trainer or a teacher in a new training group is an hard work. A training course is not just something born to teach people: is something more, created by a group of people that should trust in their trainer or people for a short or long period. That’s why a trainer or a teacher may learn some useful techniques to deal with participants.
This course guides experts in training to learn and use techniques at the basis of an Active Training.
Five days for five useful steps in training courses for every participants ages.
This course is the result of previous courses and workshops organized in the last 3 years (Social expressive laboratory: from my learning to our learning; Cooperative Learning: a method to develop social and learning skills for inclusion in educational and social contexts; Training teachers and trainer: educational and psychological strategies for adult trainers; FROM I TO WE: an expressive laboratory to develop social and communication skills, from adults to peers).
Learning objectives
To increase professional competences and social skills of participants involved in training and education
In particular:
o To learn basis of training techniques and methodologies in an active way
o To involve participants in training courses
o To prevent and deal diseases and difficulties between participants in a group o To understand the importance of the work in group
o To know how to create settings
o To use observer and mediator techniques
Methodology & assessment
The course creates, thanks to simulations, a group of discussion and work.
the active way, laboratories and simulations, used during the workshop are an example of activities
useful for people without a specific cultural and social background; the aim is to increase
participants’’ social and communicative skills useful for life and for work in every kind of contests. the learning informal way, used during the course, permits to all participants to take part to the course. The possibility to have a comparison among people is one of the most important strategy
to create new ways to communicate.
the course is based on interactive methodology and not on a frontal lesson. Participants learn by
doing and this methodology can be transfer in other European contexts of learning and training and also in daily life. The group, during the course, becomes a simulated social group, similar to groups we meet in our life and in our group of work.

Participants will have access to:
- Printed materials: Handouts, guidelines, and task templates.
- Digital tools: Interactive presentations, online collaboration platforms (e.g., Google Workspace or Miro), and video resources.
- Other resources: Flipcharts, markers, and role-play materials for group activities.
These resources are designed to facilitate active participation, collaboration, and reflection throughout the course.
